Overview

Romashka (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a guided-meditation app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting as little data as possible. You can browse and listen without creating an account. Signing in is optional and only needed to sync your progress and purchases across devices; if you sign in we collect your email address (see below).

Information we collect

We collect the following limited data so the app can function:
  • Anonymous identifier. When you first open the app we create an anonymous account (a random user ID) so we can save your preferences and progress to your device. This ID is not linked to your real-world identity, email, or phone number.
  • Account (optional). If you sign in with Apple, Google, or email to sync across devices, we collect your email address (and a name, if your sign-in provider supplies one) to create and secure your account. You can use the app without signing in.
  • Name (optional). If you choose to enter a display name in the app, we store it to personalize the experience. You may leave this blank or change it at any time.
  • Purchase history. Records of your subscription and one-time unlocks, so we can give you access to the content you have paid for across your devices.
  • App preferences. Your chosen language, reminder settings, goals, and favorited sessions.
  • Usage data. Which sessions you play and how long you listen, so the app can show your history, streaks, and recommendations.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not collect your phone number or precise location. We only collect your email if you choose to sign in.
  • We do not use third-party advertising or show ads.
  • We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • We do not sell or share your data with data brokers.

How we use your information

We use the data above only to operate and improve the app: to save your preferences and progress, personalize recommendations, manage your subscription or purchases, and provide customer support.

Service providers

  • Google Firebase(Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions) stores your anonymous profile and usage data on our behalf. See Google’s privacy policy at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play process all payments for subscriptions and one-time purchases. We never see or store your payment-card details.
  • RevenueCatmanages subscription and purchase entitlements (which content you have unlocked) on our behalf. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as you use the app. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → account), or by contacting us at intensemx@gmail.com, and we will delete your profile and associated usage data.

Children

Romashka is rated 9+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
